Schirn Kunsthalle
Opened in 1986, the Schirn is one of the most prestigious exhibition venues for modern and contemporary art in Europe and is located in the heart of Frankfurt's Old Town. In 2023, a new visitor record was set with the exhibition on the Jewish painter Marc Chagall. However, this show is just one example of the Kunsthalle's strong portfolio, which includes large solo exhibitions as well as concentrated themed exhibitions and retrospectives. All of this is presented on an area of 2000 square meters, which is explored by more than 400,000 visitors from all over the world every year.
