Portikus
Founded in 1987, Portikus has been located on the Main Island at the Old Bridge since 2006. The brick building has a glazed roof, below which is a light installation designed by Ólafur Elíasson, which is always visible after dusk. Portikus is part of the Hochschule für Bildende Künste called Städelschule and is dedicated to contemporary art. The focus is often on young and emerging artists.
