Frankfurt/Griesheim
The district has a long industrial history and was long considered a social hotspot. But thanks to the neighborhood management of the "Socially Integrative City" project, it has gained in quality of life: Numerous facilities, sports and cultural clubs enliven the district, which scores points above all for its proximity to the river. A special feature is an artificial mountain 40 meters high - the "Griesheimer Alpen" - whereby it is the greened chemical waste dump.
