Papageno-Theater am Palmengarten
The popular Musictheater is located in the Palmengarten, the largest botanical garden in the city. Founded back in 1997, the first events were held in a circus tent on the grounds. This has since given way to a permanent, fully air-conditioned arched structure designed by Berlin architect Felicitas Mossmann with space for 199 guests. The program includes a variety of children's plays - including a production of "The Little Magic Flute," which gave the theater its name. For adults, there is an evening program full of musicals and concerts.
