Stalburg Theater
The small theater in the Nordend district was founded in 1998 by journalist Michael Herl and is located in a former dance hall. The focus of the program is on theater productions, supplemented by music and cabaret. The largest part of the program is made up of in-house productions. Some plays, such as the satire "Wer kocht, schießt nicht" by founder Michael Herl, have already been shown over 650 times. A special feature of the house: Since 2003, the Stalburg Theater has organized the "Stalburg Theater offen Luft" - Stoffel for short - every summer. This is an open-air stage in Günthersburg Park that lasts almost four weeks and features a daily program with free admission.
