Bethmannpark

The history of the historic park dates back to 1783, when the merchant Johann Philipp Bethmann purchased this garden. It was located directly in front of the city fortifications of that time. In the meantime, the park has been listed as a historical monument. In 1989, a Chinese garden, the so-called Garden of Heavenly Peace, was created in the southwestern part. Together, the two parts offer architecture and flower lovers much to discover. Those seeking peace and quiet will find a shady spot between old trees. An outdoor chess field and a small children's playground are also integrated.
