Frankfurt/Ostend
The heart and prominent point of the up-and-coming Ostend district is the European Central Bank, which has had its headquarters there since 2015. It is located on the site of the former wholesale market hall and is attached to the Hafenpark, which is a popular meeting place with grassy areas, playing fields for volleyball and basketball, field hockey and fitness facilities. The main (economic) artery is Hanauer Landstrasse with its car dealerships and warehouses, but the district also has a lot to offer culturally with the zoo, the Mousonturm and the International Theater.
