Born out of an initiative by seven theater makers from the independent scene in spring 2004, the Landungsbrücken has been delighting friends of independent theater ever since. The small venue is located in a hall in the west of Frankfurt, embedded in the grounds of the former printing ink factory "Dr. Carl Milchsack". It is also home to the two renowned music clubs Tanzhaus West and Dora Brilliant. Landungsbrücken stages around 130 events a year in the fields of modern spoken theater, performance, dance and children's theater, as well as exhibitions and panel discussions. About 6000 guests come throughout the year.
