Die Komödie

With its location on Willy-Brandt-Platz, the Komödie - together with the Städtische Bühnen and The English Theatre - forms the city's theater center. The Komödie has been located there since 1963, but its origins date back to 1950, when it was founded elsewhere under the name "Theater am Roßmarkt". Today it is a classic boulevard theater, where the focus is on comedies but also on swans and musicals. The building also houses the Boulevard Bistro, where guests can dine before the show or linger over a glass of wine afterwards.
