Weltkulturen Museum
Having moved several times within the city, the Weltkulturen Museum is now located on the Museumsufer. There it is housed in three Wilhelminian villas that house the immense collection. This includes around 65,000 objects from all continents and island states, more than 100,000 photographs and films, as well as a public library with 50,000 books and magazines. Due to space limitations, only temporary special exhibitions are shown. The museum sees itself as a central place for interdisciplinary collaboration.
