Geldmuseum der Deutschen Bundesbank

The Money Museum of the Deutsche Bundesbank is located in the Bockenheim district and is the only money museum in Germany. On an exhibition area of 1,000 square meters, it invites visitors to better understand the monetary system but also to learn about the many aspects behind it. The collection includes coins with around 90,000 mintages from all over the world - from antiquity to the present day - as well as an extensive paper money collection, which is one of the largest in Germany with around 255,000 specimens. The building, which is also home to the Deutsche Bundesbank's central library, is located on the same site as the Deutsche Bundesbank's headquarters. Admission to the museum is free.
