CineStar Metropolis IMAX

With twelve screens and a total of over 2,800 seats, the CineStar Metropolis is by far the largest cinema in the city. Even from the outside, the imposing building, which housed a theater until 1995, is impressive. The individual auditoriums, some of which can be accessed via escalators, are equipped with the latest technology, including the IMAX auditorium, which opened in December 2024 with Hessen's largest screen and impressive 360-degree sound. Regular events such as premieres and event series complement the extensive film program, which also offers Frankfurt's largest selection of original versions.
