Harmonie
Opened in 1920 in Dreieichstraße in Sachsenhausen, the Harmonie can look back on over a hundred years of history. The house survived the lean cinema years of the 1960s - when television became the medium of the hour everywhere - as a "cinema for adults". Today, together with the Eldorado and the Cinema, it is one of three arthouse cinemas spread across the city. The program is varied and far removed from mainstream blockbusters. Premieres and special events regularly take place in the 181-seat Great Harmony with its balcony, while the smaller auditorium with its colorful armchairs can accommodate 84 visitors.
