Jüdisches Museum
Following renovation and new construction work, the Jewish Museum celebrated its reopening in fall 2020. A modern, illuminated building now stands next to the historic Rothschild Palace and together they form a new cultural center in the middle of the city. Visitors can experience Jewish history and culture from 1800 to the present day on site. Regularly changing special exhibitions complement the program. The "Life Deli" offers kosher and vegan cuisine on site. The museum also has a second location: the Museum Judengasse is located near the Konstablerwache. Among other things, finds from the former Judengasse, the oldest Jewish ghetto in Europe, are on display there.
