Jazzkeller
Opened in 1952, the Jazzkeller is considered Europe's oldest private jazz cellar. Especially in the 1950s and 1960s, it was important for contact between German and U.S. jazz musicians. Big names such as Don Ellis, Bill Ramsey and Joe Henderson played here regularly. Its popularity continues to this day; in addition to concerts, jam sessions for up-and-coming artists are held regularly.
