Discover Frankfurt - between the banks of the Main & the flair of the old town
Milk becomes cheese, apples become wine. In this "Heinzelcheesetalk", Andreas Schneider and Ursula Heinzelmann bring the two together in their most expressive form: Together they explore contrasts and harmonies through taste - a total of seven cheeses and seven corresponding wines. At 6 p.m. we welcome you with a single-variety sparkling apple wine (alternatively: apple juice). Take a seat in the rustic apple grove on the cider benches and taste seven types of cheese together with Ursula Heinzelmann. Andreas Schneider presents special wines from his treasure trove to accompany the selected cheese delicacies - served in a wine glass. Both connoisseurs will give you an insight into their respective product knowledge, the special features of their philosophy and open up new facets of enjoyable harmony. We will interactively discuss your personal impressions and reflect on what we have experienced while tasting. The one-woman-power-Berliner Ursula Heinzelmann is a trained chef, qualified sommelier and has worked as a restaurateur, wine and delicatessen merchant. She has been working as a food historian, journalist and author since 2001 and is passionately dedicated to her specialty and subject close to her heart: cheese. Her stage name: Heinzelcheese. The "Heinzelcheesetalks" - tasty explorations of cheese and wine - take place once a month in Markthalle Neun. She also gives seminars for cheesemongers and curates the annual cheese festival "Cheese Berlin". Her latest book on the subject is entitled "Vom Käsemachen".
