Harmonie
Opened as early as 1920 on Dreieichstrasse in Sachsenhausen, the Harmonie can look back on a history of over one hundred years. It survived the lean cinema years of the 1960s - when TV became the medium of the moment everywhere - as a "cinema for adults. Today, together with the Eldorado and the Cinema, it is one of three arthouse cinemas spread around the city. The program is varied and far removed from mainstream blockbusters. Premieres and special events are regularly held in the large harmony with 186 seats including a balcony, while the smaller hall with colorful armchairs seats 84 visitors.
