Lore and Harry's marriage has seen better days. Although the two are old friends, they live more side by side than together. When their daughter Gloria gets married for the third time - and to make matters worse, to a shady real estate shark - it makes Harry's old-68 blood boil. Lore is partly annoyed and partly amused - and so the wedding becomes both a point of friction between the two and the starting point for a renewed rapprochement. At the Stalburg Theater, Elke Heidenreich and Bernd Schroeder's novel is transformed into a simple but effective production that repeatedly provokes laughter and amusement in the auditorium. It is admirable how much can be achieved with just two actors and a stage set consisting of two wooden benches, a table and a changing rear projection.
