When is a man a man? - 101 men's places in Frankfurt with Christian Setzepfandt
Men are special: with bizarre passions, a will to assert themselves, but also as vulnerable fathers or responsible politicians. Women's emancipation has pushed them onto the defensive in many places. Join Christian Setzepfandt on a humorous tour of the last "male" retreats in Frankfurt - including the book 101 MännerOrte in Frankfurt by Christian Setzepfandt & Frank Berger. It's well known that men have a hard life... They drive steam locomotives, like fast cars or voluntarily take part in ritual sabre fights with calculated facial injuries. But where are these places where a man can still be a real man? After all, it's one thing with these men's places - the female sex has secretly crept in almost everywhere. When designing the book, the authors Christian Setzepfandt, Frank Berger and Jutta Zwilling knew that the book "Männerorte" would not only be bought by men, but also by women. As a collective of authors, the three of them wanted to come at least a little closer to social reality, and so they came together as gay, straight and female friends and brought this small, witty marvel to the page. Now, together with Christian Setzepfandt, you can experience these very Frankfurt locations... Politically correct? Not Christian Setzepfandt! Occasional sottises and sarcasms are part of the trade and he will do the devil to apologize for them. Morally offensive and gender provocative comments will not be avoided either, but are part and parcel of our tour with the author himself ;) Look forward to an entertaining and above all tongue-in-cheek tour with our guide and author Christian Setzepfandt, including his book, and ask yourself the question: When is a man a man?
