La dolce vita, from the Lagoon Waltz to the Tritsch-Tratsch Polka, from sparkling operetta to sun-ripened hits, from Venice's gondolas to the fishermen of Capri. Two top-class vocal soloists, a dancing couple and a charming presenter spread good humor. Plus symphonic highlights: Racy pieces by Rossini, rousing works by Massenet, furious pieces by Fučik. Southern flair is in the orchestra's blood, after all, they have already played with José Carreras, Andrea Bocelli and Il volo, and accompanied Deep Purple in the Arena di Verona.
