The two-and-a-half-hour educational mushroom hike is suitable for mushroom lovers and nature enthusiasts of all levels of knowledge. On our educational mushroom hike, we not only teach important rules for picking mushrooms safely and in a way that respects nature, but also explain the identification features of the fruiting bodies found on site and point out typical poisonous "confusion mushrooms". I am just as happy to answer questions from beginners as from experienced mushroom pickers. The educational mushroom hike is not a "collecting tour". The focus of the educational mushroom hike is on expanding your knowledge. However, any edible mushrooms found can be collected for consumption. At the end of the excursion, the edible mushrooms found will be inspected by me (DGfM mushroom expert) and released for consumption. Please bring along: - Basket and knife (if you want to pick mushrooms) - Insect repellent (according to your own needs) - Sturdy shoes I reserve the right to cancel the event at short notice in the event of severe frost, snow cover, heavy rain, extreme drought or storms. The same applies in the event of official restrictions due to a possible spread of African swine fever. In case of doubt, please check https://fungiversum.de, where you will be informed of any necessary cancellation at least two hours before the start of the event. The exact meeting point will be communicated by email one day before the event.
