The Black Crowes

Two years after their celebrated reunion tour, The Black Crowes are returning to German concert stages! While the Black Crowes played their legendary first album "$hake Your Money Maker" from 1990 in its entirety back then, the shows in 2024 will be entitled "Happiness Bastards" from the current album On their first record with new songs in 15 years, the Robinson brothers Chris (lead vocals, guitar) and Rich (guitar) with long-time bassist Sven Pipien plus some Nashville musicians underpin their reputation as "The Most Rock 'n' Roll Rock 'n' Roll Band in the World" (Melody Maker) in ten tracks. To a certain extent, this was also confirmed by frontman Chris Robinson's statement in an interview with Classic Rock Magazine: "Happiness Bastards is our love letter to rock 'n' roll. Rich and I are constantly writing and creating music; it's never stopped for us, it's always where we find harmony together. This record represents that." Rich Robinson added to his brother's statement: "This album is a continuation of our story as a band. Our years of experience composing and playing music and touring the world are represented in this album, and we were brilliantly guided by one of the best producers in the business, Jay Joyce." Aside from fresh song material, there will certainly be some of the Crowes classics to be heard live.
