At the end of January, contrasting worlds will once again come together smoothly when the KiezPalast opens its doors in the Alte Oper. This time, Katja Riemann holds the reins as master of ceremonies, singer, actress and reciter, while the hr Symphony Orchestra provides the musical basis and is happy to join in the wild ride through the genres. "City Life" is the theme of this evening of colorful contrasts and surprising cross-relationships. And that means: music and lyrics tell of the fascination of urban life as well as its darker sides.
